Privacy notice

The data controller is Arcade Union Ltd (company number 17502541), 61 Bridge Street, Kington, England, HR5 3DJ.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote we collect what you type into the form: the job, any details, your name, postcode, phone number and email address. We store it with the time it was sent and the IP address it came from, which we use only to stop spam and abuse. Our web server also keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser) for security, and deletes them in the normal rotation.

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.

Why, and on what basis

We use your details only to pass your request to a local electrician so they can contact you about the job. We do this with your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

The electrician, or electricians, who cover your area. Once they have your details they handle them as a separate controller under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your details or use them for marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests for up to 12 months, then delete them automatically. Our backups may hold a deleted request a little longer, until they are rotated out.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw consent, by writing to the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
